Welcome to ‘Ramblers’ Cottage. Self catering accommodation in Bowness on Windermere, which sleeps 5.
Welcome to Ramblers, self-catering accommodation, in Bowness-on-Windermere in the heart of the Lake District. Ramblers is a traditional terraced Lakeland cottage, offering spacious and well equipped self-catering 3 bed room accommodation, a few minutes walk from the centre of Bowness-on-Windermere and a five minute walk from the pier. There is dedicated parking at the rear of the cottage.
Ramblers is an ideal base from which to explore the Lake District. It is well suited to those seeking outdoor activities, such as climbing, fell walking, cycling, or sailing. It is equally suited to the less energetic, wishing to visit an abundance of Lakeland attractions, or simply to enjoy some of the finest and most magnificent scenery in the Lake District. Pets are welcome, and the cottage has free wi-fi.
Part weeks minimum stay of three nights available by arrangement not in high season. We try to be flexible depending on availability to suit individual requirements – please enquire.
Weekly bookings Saturday to Saturday. The cottage is available from 3.00pm on the day of arrival. On departure, the cottage must be vacated by 10:00 hrs.
How to book
Please email: email@example.com, or telephone 077587 32914 to make a provisional booking. A non-refundable deposit of 25% is required within seven days to secure a booking. The balance is due 6 weeks before the start of the holiday. Holidays booked less than 6 weeks in advance should be paid in full.
Payment by cheque is possible, please e-mail for details.
Cancellations made prior to the final balance will result in the non-refundable deposit being forefeited. If a cancellation is received after full payment has been made, we would endeavour to re-let. If this was successful, we would refund the full amount, less the non-refundable deposit. If we were unable to re-let, the full amount would remain payable. We strongly recommend holiday insurance.
We do not ask for a deposit to cover breakages as we trust that visitors will respect our cottage. However, we do reserve the right to recover any costs if there is undue damage.
A cot and high chair are available on request, but we ask that you bring your own baby bedding. Heating, electricity, and bed linen are all included. Towels are not provided.
We would ask that you refrain from smoking whilst in the cottage, as non-smokers may find this offensive.
